Whether you fancy
yourself as a bit of a Sean Kelly, or you just like the idea
of enjoying the scenery from a different, more leisurely
angle, Ireland is a great place to enjoy a cycling holiday.
Far from the noisy urban gridlock lie thousands of quiet,
meandering country lanes, where nothing lies between you and
pure fresh air. Mind you, if you want to take a more
gruelling approach to your two-wheeled trip, then try
pushing your limits around craggy mountains, soaring cliffs
and deep valleys. The rush will stay with you for weeks… And
don’t forget that part of the fun is finding quiet villages
where you can get off the saddle and settle down for a few
well-deserved pints and some hearty food in a traditional
country pub. Bliss.
